Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopment Project $1.4B
Total Project 1.4B: The RCH Redevelopment Project is being phased to allow for continuity of hospital services throughout construction, demolition, and renovation work. Due to the complexity involved in this multi-phase, multi-year project, work has been broken into three separate phases:
- Phase 1 $280M: DB – Mental Health and Substance Use Facility and Parkade
- Phase 2 $920M: DB – New Quaternary Care Tower, Emergency, and Parkade
- Phase 3 $200M: CM – Retrofitting existing Health Care Centre and Columbia Tower

Leadership and oversight on each of the 3 phases and stages of the project including Procurement at the RFQ stage, and RFP development and finalization for Phases 2 and 3 plus the Design, Construction, and Transition/Operational Readiness Planning stage for Phase 1.
